Hmmm...Hope is one of my mainstays. I think of it as like a next step after faith. When I struggle to have faith, I'm struggling to believe God means what He says and can do it. Once I get that straightened out, Hope means I'm banking on it. So, when I say that my hope is in Christ I guess I mean that I know everything else will let me down, that my meaning/mattering that beauty/goodness/love WILL BE FROM HIM. That the things that I need but can't have here or cannot get from anywhere else, the things that I need for my spiritual survival I will get through Him. Does that make sense? Oooo writing things out really makes me think about it.
